EXHIBITOR FAQs

Do I view or participate in the virtual event platform differently than an attendee?

No, we are all viewing the platform in the same way whether you are manning a booth or not.

How do I man my booth?

You will monitor your virtual booth, specifically for those that reach out on your chat to ask questions. Even better you can pose questions on your chat to promote attendee engagement. You participate in chat just like an attendee. You will also want to monitor your notifications in the upper left hand corner of your screen for those that are requesting 1:1 meetings so that you can respond.

Why aren't my booth representatives showing up in my booth?

The system is automatically set up to assign booth reps based on company name. The booth reps company name must match the booth name EXACTLY for the system to match them. Show organizers are periodically checking these matches and adding those that have not automatically linked but were communicated to show organizers as booth reps.

Can I see in real-time who is in my booth?

No, you can not see who comes and goes from your booth unless they reach out via the chat function or to request a 1:1 meeting.

I see booths with a Power Hour symbol, what is that?

Power Hour is a way for attendees to engage in your booth. They answer a company themed question and if they get it right they are entered to win your prize. Winners will be announced on Thursday (10/22) at 4pm. Must be present to win. All booth coordinators were given the opportunity to participate in Power Hour prior to this email. Unfortunately, we are no longer accepting Power Hour participants at this time. .

When I set up a 1:1 meeting, is that housed in the platform?

Yes, when you schedule a meeting, a chat box will pop up. Once the other person accepts the meeting a camera graphic will appear in the upper right hand corner of the chat where you both can access the meeting.

How long are 1:1 meetings?

They are set up in 15 minute increments with a 5 minute break in between each.

How will I know if another booth rep from my company is reaching out to the same person?

To ensure you are not contacting the same lead twice, your team will need to discuss this outside of the virtual event platform.

Can I participate in the programming?

Absolutely, please do! We encourage all exhibitors to participate in the programming when they are able.

As a sponsor or exhibitor, will I get a list of all those that registered prior to the event?

Yes, you will receive a copy of the attendee list. We will include those that gave permission to release their contact information during registration.

TIPS FOR SUCCESS

BE ACTIVE!

BE ACTIVE!

BE ACTIVE!

When you send meeting requests:

  1. Have a value proposition

  2. Be brief and tell why you would like to meet them, and why it’s worth their time

    3. Research the person you are reaching out to. Check their Brella profile (why are they a match)

BE ACTIVE!

Review attendees by visiting the "People" tab and request 1:1 meetings.

Sales requires you to be active. Using Brella is no different. Exhibitors who send outbound requests themselves are 100%+ more likely to have meetings than those who rely solely on inbound requests.

BE PERSONAL!

When you send meeting requests:

  1. Have a value proposition

  2. Be brief and tell why you would like to meet them, and why it’s worth their time

  3. Research the person you are       reaching out to. Check their Brella profile and why are they a match.

USE FILTERS!

Use filters to narrow down the hot leads for you. As a #1 priority you want to meet people who are at the moment willing to explore or buy services that you offer.

You can use the category filter to find these people. Select Categories based on what your company is offering!
